In this episode I walkthrough 'Episode 1: Hungry For The Science', the debut album from @destroytheplanet, including their video track for 'Crawl'. Destroy the Planet is a three piece band out of Minneapolis. Their record was expertly mixed and mastered by Minnesota metal producer Todd Fitzgerald, and features a spoken intro by former NFL player and current sports commentator Pete Bercich.
The band is getting attention daily from radio airplay and their exciting music videos and its easy to see why!
“If you're a fan of rock, there is more than enough to enjoy in "Episode 1," in fact, I can't think of a single negative thing to say” - Current Music Thoughts
"Hitting with a wonderfully original sound that will echo for the next few years, ‘Episode 1: Hungry for the Science’ is a bold debut, one that earmarks the band as a fresh new sound that is destined to go far." - Broken8 Records
It's great to be back in the podcaster's seat! I hope you enjoy the episode!

You heard them first in Phoebus The Knight; and now this inspiring couple have come out and given us the amazing HARTLIGHT and a debut EP that will literally blow you away. 'From Midland & Beyond' is a strikingly beautiful and sonically colourful homage to a Manga series called 'Beserk'. Noemie's vocals are mesmerizingly enchanting and the magic this couple has both in and out of the studio is profound as much as it is cute to witness and this interview was such an insight into their special unison, their journey, and we had many a laugh along the way!!!

Ben Sebastian's 'Kalasin' series is a demonstrative outpouring of the extremes of epic symphonic and maniacally progressive metal musicality as in each instalment he unleashes his latest vivid instrumental, filmic, and mind-bending creations pushing each release to its absolute limitation. Each track is a journey in its own right, a navigation through seething sound-sphere seas whose tides seek to push, pull, unite, divide, ameliorate and obliterate the expectations of the listener. As if penned by a quill whose ink is dipped in the well of madness; Ben writes with fight, fervour and fever, yet is untiring in his desire to always be dynamically prolific in his dramatic proliferations. He is also curator of The Sonic Symphonic Podcast; an outlet for unsigned metal artists to get heard along with imaginative real-life story-telling and colourful interviews - all immersed in his philosophical mission to promote and engender musicians to invest in the furtherance of their own unique talents above all else as a mechanism for overcoming, and surpassing, the frailty of personal mental health and the general vicissitudes of life.

This is my interview with the hugely personable, endearingly humble and fiercely heavy Teren; the magician behind the indomitably heavy symphonic/black/death metal project EXIST IN RUIN. 'Exist In Ruin' EP is not only a masterpiece in metal creation but also the product of one man's honest and determined journey out of the grit and an epic demonstration of how, through investment in one's own musical talents, one can yield a masterpiece production that achieves musical success and acclaim, ticks off a personal bucket-list item, brings musicians and even friends together but, and get this, can also save a marriage!
